Do these tiles look familiar? Tiled lamps?

These lamps have stolen our hearts.

They have been recently installed in a project by a Sydney interior architectural company, and we love their taste.

They have fabulously over-sized cotton shades, and if the tiles look familiar, then that is probably because they have been made to the exact template of the original tiles used on the London Underground.
How is that for retro?

We adore Lee Brooms work.
This London designer has a unique ability to see value in the most remarkable of vintage-wear. Be it the use of vintage lead crystal decanters in his amazingly beautiful Decanterlights, or the outlining of vintage furniture with neon tubes (see recent blogs), he continues to turn the design world on its head so that we can all partake of his 'Alice in Wonderland' type visions.
