Ifat Shterenberg, a sculptural ceramic furniture artist, started her journey into the world of sculptural furniture in 2000 after dreaming about a sofa made of ceramics. When she awoke, she decided to follow her dream.

Although she had graduated with a B.A in ‘Mass Communication’ and an MA in ‘Business Administration’, Ifat decided to take a sharp turn and to dedicate her life to ceramics studies. Six years later she found the perfect way to create the sofa of her dream...yet her dream was only beginning. After finding the right formula, she took a further leap and established her own business.

Although ceramic furniture could be regarded as being heavy and bulky, Ifat has actually spent the last eleven years developing innovative methods and formulas to create lighter and more durable interior home design furniture & outdoor furniture, which is suitable and convenient for daily use.

Using her artistic and professional knowledge and experience, Ifat has succeeded where many others have failed and her sculptural ceramic furniture has become a trademark of her name. Ifat specializes in creating custom designs for contract projects such as offices, lobbies, restaurants and hotels, as well as designs for residential projects.

Her varied collection includes: garden furniture, patio furniture, bedroom furniture, bathroom furniture, bar stools, end tables, coffee tables and much more.

The concept of creating stools, garden furniture, end tables, coffee tables, and bathroom furniture from glazed ceramics sounds well nigh impossible, but Ifat of Israel proves that creative dreams can be realized, and we all benefit from the result.

Ifat has cracked the formula to successful production of these beautiful ceramic works, and to date we know of no imitations out there. Her glazes are superb, her quality remarkable, and her dedication to this technique has been breath-taking.
